Somatic Therapist in San Francisco — Online Therapy for Bay Area Clients

You've been carrying this for a while. Maybe it's anxiety that won't quit: a body that's always braced, a mind that won't slow down, a nervous system stuck on high alert even when there's nothing obviously wrong. Maybe you've tried talking about it, understanding it, willing it to change. And still, something hasn't shifted.

Anxiety and stress often live in the body, not just the mind. Talking helps, but it doesn't always reach the place where the tension actually lives. Somatic therapy is designed to work at that level.

I'm Morgan Fleming, a somatic therapist offering online sessions to clients throughout California, including the San Francisco Bay Area. I work with people who are tired of just managing their symptoms and ready to do something that actually reaches the root. My approach weaves together Somatic Therapy, Somatic EMDR, and Depth Psychology, three modalities that together work with both the body and the psyche.

Somatic therapy pays attention to what's happening in your body: the tension in your shoulders, the way your breath tightens when something difficult comes up, the physical patterns that carry your history. Somatic EMDR helps process what's been stuck. Depth Psychology helps you understand and compassionately relate to the inner parts of you that have been running the show. Woven throughout is a Jungian depth psychology perspective, because healing isn't just about symptom relief. It's about coming into a fuller, more honest relationship with yourself.

If you think deeply, feel things intensely, and want therapy that can actually keep up with you, this work is for you.

All sessions are via secure telehealth, so you can connect from anywhere in the Bay Area without a commute.

Ready to see if this feels like the right fit? I offer a free 15-minute call to hear what's bringing you to therapy and talk through what working together could look like.

  • One-on-one sessions designed to help you understand yourself more deeply, process what's keeping you stuck, and build a life that feels more like yours. We work at your pace, using approaches tailored to your unique history, nervous system, and goals.

  • Couples therapy helps you and your partner move out of stuck patterns and toward more safety, understanding, and connection. Whether you're navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or simply wanting to grow closer, sessions provide a structured space to do that work together.

  • Somatic therapy works with the body as an entry point into healing. Rather than only talking about your experiences, we pay attention to physical sensations, breath, and nervous system responses to help you process and release what's been stored in the body.

  • Somatic EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they lose their charge. The somatic component means we also track what's happening in your body throughout, creating a fuller and more grounded healing experience.

Our Process

Start with Safety

Before anything else, we build a foundation of trust and nervous system safety. Healing can't happen without it—so we take the time to make sure you feel comfortable and grounded in our work together.

Collaborate Openly

Together we explore what's showing up in your body, your relationships, and your emotional life. We look at the roots—not just the symptoms—drawing on somatic awareness, attachment patterns, and the unconscious to understand what's really going on.

Work at the Level of the Body

Using Somatic Therapy, Somatic EMDR, and Depth Psychology, we go beyond talking to process what's been stored in your nervous system. This is where real, lasting change happens—not just insight, but felt, embodied transformation.

Integration & Growth

Healing isn't a single moment—it unfolds over time. We track what's shifting, build on your progress, and help you carry the changes you make in sessions into your relationships and daily life.

  • You are a sea of light. Open your eyes. See yourself.
